also

i've been particularly slack recently as i've been focusing my attention on getting a place on Brighton universities PGCE course, to train to be a secondary school art teacher. I've secured myself a place on the PGCE and will hopefully have another interview to see if i can do the training via the school where i work now, like a sort of apprenticeship (it's called a GTP if anyone does care).
i've also been working in Oathall Community College in Haywards Heath (as i mentioned) and did a special 'artist in residence' day with some year 11 students last week. Focusing on illustration, specifically mark making, and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone with their drawing!

not giving up on the illustration, just re-assessing the momentum after 3 years non stop.

like buses

drawings in did in the back of jon's sketchbook a little while ago, which have since been removed.
i've just realised just how faint the line is, they are there i promise!

DSG

A rather cheeky trial illustration for Quadrille Publishing House for a new book titled 'Domestic Sex Goddess'. The brief was great, as was the commission and client, but alas, I didn't get it!

Shebang2

Illustration to accompany the Pens interview in the fantastic Shebang2 magazine, which I believe is launching this Sunday, 22nd February at the Brighton Zine Fest  www.brightonzinefest.co.uk
Hopefully I'll make it down and take some pictures, as I believe another of my illustrations is being used for promotional material?
